What a rocket of a start for Ma Lin against Ma Long.  I just wish Lin was a little younger to let his style shine.

Yea, it's obvious that he's at the end of his career now, but man does he still have some skills.  I think the best course of action for the CNT is for Ma Lin to quit soon and start tutoring young penholders like XX.  It's obvious that he can only have a good match here and there now and can no longer string together a series of great ones to win anything of importance, so why not let him teach his vast array of skills to the younger generation?

I mean, look at XX, it should be obvious to him that playing what's essentially the JPen style isn't gonna get him anywhere, the game requires too much balance these days.  If he could strengthen his near-the-table game and not back away so quickly and let his BH be picked apart in rallies, he could be damn near unbeatable!

Yup but I think it might be a bit too late for him....Cry a lot of this is very hard to change because the habits have been drilled in after years and years of drilling.
