Same for Violin...older ones have black-label, new ones have gold-label...have less dwell in IMO. |

In Violin, the thickness of layers is the same in the old and new model.
In the old Acoustic, the outer layers (1 and 5) were thinner than the intermediate layers (2 and 4). In the new one, layers 1, 2, 4, and 5 all have the same thickness. The core thickness and the total blade thickness is the same in the old and new models. |

What is the difference in play because if this change in the thickness of layers 1,2,4 and 5 ?

Newer Acoustic is stiffer and has less feel. |
