I'd recommend some of Galaxy / Yin-He's rubbers, or LKT/KTL.
Cole is a good resource for this information and probably carries something that would fit you exactly. You'll be able to select from a range of speed and sponge hardness where you can find something that is to your liking. |

galaxy apollo seems to fit the description. Also Globe 999 40 deg. Mercury II is a bit less tacky but better for the bh. (great for bh at 37 or 36 deg).
DHS h3/h2/tg3/tg2 are tacky and medium speed, but they might be too hard for backhand. |

...but h2 and tg3 are not soft.
you can pick a soft version of apollo, let's say less than 36 deg. but I would still go with mercury2 36. |

H3 not tacky? maybe you got a funny one?
If H3 not tacky enough, I don't think you will find any rubbers as per your request.... H3 is hard, TG3 neo is medium, also tacky imo |

You want the DHS G555, its tacky with a soft sponge and has just about maximum control on loops

Be cautious with such a description as “med speed”, no one knows what you mean with that. A Sun medium is in comparision to normal china rubbers ultra fast and ultra soft, and non-tacky. E. g. an Apollo II medium is rather hard and slow in comparision to Sun medium, but medium-hard und quite fast in comparision to other china rubbers.

H2 Neo is tacky, BW2 <36 degrees may also serve your BH well, V-2 is tacky but hard, Apollo 2 is a FH rubber |

Chinese rubbers just don't seem to be as tacky as they used to be. These days, the REALLY tacky ones tend to be too slow without speed glue.
That said, these might be worth a look: 729 Origin Haifu Blue Whale 2 999Nat

This was a great signature until I realised it was overrated.

I agree. Give us a speed range i.e. faster than rubber x on drives but slower than rubber y on same shot. Do you mean that current H3 Neos are nowhere near as tacky as old H3 and you want something closer to the old H3 for tacky? |
