Has anyone applied booster-tuner using sponge (same type sponges used for applying glue).
I don't have a brush so I'm looking for an alternative.

I always use sponge to apply booster/tuner. I simply bought a shoe polish which come with aplicator sponges. See;

My booster is an homemade, actually experimental one that is prepared by a friend that knows a lot about tt and chemicals. As a result it's quite long lasting and does not seem to soften the sponge. I usually use 2 layers, sometimes 3 for slower rubbers. I wait for the first layer to dry (absorbed by sponge), then apply 2nd. If needed, wait for 2nd to dry and apply the 3rd. Usually it takes 10 minutes for one layer to be absorbed.
