    Posted: 08/28/2012 at 3:06pm
Hi All

I am looking to replace my backhand rubber (Hexer+ 2.1mm), but Tabletennis11.com doesn't sell Andro.

Could you help advise me on similar replacements from what Tabletennis11.com sells (Xiom, Donic, Stiga, Yasaka,)

I am using a Ma Lin Carbon, Cpen and RPB with Hexer+.

Thanks in advance for your advise/suggestions.

I am using Razka7 on my Joola Trix blade, I tried on the same blade Hexer+ and I felt they were very similar, so I would give Razka7 a try.

I tried it on last night,
R7 (black one, Max) compared to my Hexer+ (Red, 2.1mm).

I think R7 sponge is a bit hard and faster for my BH RPB, maybe it is the thicker sponge.
R7 Soft is slightly better, but aslo a bit fast and I struggle to get the same amount of spin as per my Hexer+

Do you think if I go down on sponge size it will make a different? Say from Max to 2.0mm?

Thinner sponge will help for sure. I am playing with 1,8mm sponge myself. One good coach said to me that only pro players can play with sponges over 2mm, I am following his advice after hearing this.

I used 2.1mm Sriver EL for a long time
and from there moved to Hexer+, where 2.1mm was the max too.
My FH has 2.15/2.2(h3) before, and I am happy with the R7soft Max on my FH now.

I think I would order some sheets of 2.0 R7soft to try - as it is on special now at Tabletennis11
But also considering to try another brand out

Zapen, occasionally turn bat and playing with RPB Nittaku Narucross GS hard-this my FH rubber. Very sharp and quick combination, but with little control. My advice, try to Nittaku Narucross GS Soft-expect more spin, more reasonable speed and kontrol.I slightly higher price,Wink but TT11 is a promotionClap

Thanks Nikki64

Haven't tried Nittaku before
I see that Narucross GS Hard and Super Soft is on promotion now at TT11 for Euro26.67 and normal priced Soft is for Euro 37.50

All 3 pricing is not bad.
But they don't have much options in red rubbers in stock now...(expect for soft - 1.8mm red)

LOLHa- ha, someone / nikk64 /'s stock. In the last month I have a  Tibhar Nianmor-1, 8, bizarre rubber having speed of T64 and characterization of rotation similar to TG2. Many power and less gambling.Shocked
