    Posted: 09/29/2012 at 3:52am
I have just received 2 new Tenergy 05s. They both should be legitimate, there is no extra bottom line on the rubber, the sponge is blood orange...
I opened them and looked at the sponge to find something weird. It's in Japanese, near the bottom of the sponge, saying:

LHN ートクアツー 2.1mm
----OF----- (on the red rubber)

ME ートクアツー 2.1mm
----VF----- (on the black rubber)

Is this normal? What does this mean?

I've done some research, the Japanese characters translate to Tokuatsu. On Butterfly Japan, when buying Tenergy 05s, you can choose to buy the Tokuatsu version in the drop box. But I am still confused. :s

Thanks in advance guys.

Could you upload some pics? Interest to know where you get it and is it cheaper than normal. And what is Tokuatsu means. Google it shows nothing.

I mean no extra bottom line as in this: go on google and go to images. Search up fake tenergy. Look at the 2nd picture.
Can't exactly get a photo, the wording is quite blurry.

Yes I did. My auntie bought them for me. The store my auntie buys from is absolutely legitimate, she has bought other rubbers and blades from there before, and they were absolutely legitimate.

I'll try to get some photos with my laptop soon, I don't think the Japanese text will be seen properly though.

Actually, I have never used Tenergys before apart from my friends' from my club. I have not yet glued it onto my blade. I am not planning to until next year. Photos will be up soon. They are rather blurry, they were taken with my laptop camera so yeah...

Could this be like a factory tuned rubber? I'm still unsure about the Japanese writing.

Tokuatsu is the thickness. These look legit. Just out of curiosity what are you paying for these rubbers? If it is full price, you might as well go straight to Butterflyonline.com here in the US.
