So there are another 3 members who likes their blade under 75 grams besides myself. I suppose Iczy is one. I wonder who are the other two.

I have two weight preferences, i prefer a lighter blade for my backhand and a heavier blade for my forehand... i know there are 2 speed blades...but do they make 2 weight blades???Wink

Depends.  Head-heavy set-ups can be lighter (i.e. <85g).  If the set-up is more center-balanced, then I guess the heavier the better (my wrist doesn't notice as much Wink).  Still, I voted 85-90, as most of my blade collection falls into that category.

My ideal weight is 93gr. Whenever I have used several blades of the same model the heavier one always felt better, no exceptions. Just feels more solid and better control. Yeah, its heavy but I like it like that, feels nice.

Wait to see what Ross is baking for me.. your hats are gona fall off.

I like my blade to be around 65 grams. I feel that I can move my blade faster, but the most important reason is that I got a sore arm when I use a blade weighing over 85 grams.

95-100 for me, I like heavy blades as they give a firm feeling. Also, I want the blade to be head-heavy.

As a one-sided(1 rubber) penhold looper i like them as heavy as they get, for blocking stability and power. But i havent come across any that are more than 110g

Also the wrist injury talk is kind of weird. people seem to have wrong techniques if they injure themselves that often.

ive never injured my wrist in tennis even though my racket weighs like 340g, the ball is much heavier and puts much more strain on your arm/wrist, and you have to use your wrist a lot(serving, forehandtopspin....)

I prefer blade as lightest as I can find. Reason? My wrist hurts if overall weight is above 172 g. My current setup is 146-160 g.

i am currently using a Violin 81g and feels great.
in the past, i used blades from 86-94g and felt they were a bit heavy with my Tenergy setup.
The violin's weight has been ideal for me and my combo weighs 173g.

My two-sided pips-out Mazunov is 108g, total 174g.
My one-sided pips-out DHS N08S is 115g, total 147g.
Naturally, they play "like a 2x4".

When I was using H2 I reluctantly gave up the Mazunov and was using a T-11+ 76g, total 171g. When I pick up that paddle now it feels very head heavy and rubbery; if I were to ever play two-sided inverted again I would forsake H2 before I would play such a rubbery feeling setup again.

I hope this answers your question OK.

You can adjust your racket weight with glue. Put many glue layers on sponge and
and palettes will become heavier.

Mostly 85-90g, but depending on the blade I like 90-95g.
If I was a J-pen player I would choose a blade above 105g.
