31. Butterfly Powerdrive (Old Font on Head)
Weight: 94 Gramms Sized: 15,6/14,9cm Again a Powerdrive, coming here with old font on blades head, must have been made before the end of 1991. With old tag and straightened and flatened lense. Blade composition should be: Hinoki/Rosewood/Abachi/Rosewood/Hinoki Available in ST, FL and AN. Edited by Timo1978 - 02/04/2014 at 1:29pm |

32. Butterfly Power-9
Weight: 87 Gramms Sized:15,3/14,9cm With old font on straightened and flatened lense and blades head, no serial and without old tag. If the Power7 is lacking power for your play, try the Power9. Its blade dimensions are small, but with standart butterfly size i guess the Power9 would have been become too heavy. Not only Stiga was able to produce nice 9-ply-woods in the past... The Power-9 was only produced with FL Handle. I think it was made with 5 plies Abachi, 2 plies Limba and 2 plies of Rosewood. Edited by Timo1978 - 02/17/2015 at 12:06pm |

33. Butterfly Spinshot
Weight: 83 Gramms Sized: 15,5/14,9cm One of the best 5-ply-wood ever made for topspin play the Spinshot is still very popular and famous among the German Players. Composition should be: Limba-Abachi-Limba-Abachi-Limba. It is a pity that this model was discontinued without a follower-model to replace it. This one has straightened and flatended lense and no black tag. I do not think the Spinshots ever had the old tags attached. Other pieces of the Spinshot i saw until today had the new font printed on the head. Edited by Timo1978 - 02/10/2014 at 3:47am |

34. Butterfly Perdir
A 5-ply-wood, i think it is made of Hinoki, coming with old metal tag and no font on lense. The Perdir is relativly unknown, i do not think it was very sucessful in sales since there are not many informations about the Perdir available. I guess the history of it has been forgotten... Maybe some members still remember the Perdir and are able to say something about it ... |

Maybe the blade is not very popular because many Players that used it as their main blade lost their matches? I already knew that old post at mytt about it, but does not help much regarding the history of that model. In French "to lose" is "perdre" also similar to Spanish since bot languages have latin origin. I once asked Butterfly Central in Europe about the Perdir, but they also "lost" their knowledge about it |

35. Butterfly Euro-5
The considered ancestor of the Primorac Powerfeeling although the Powerfeeling is a hard 7 ply-wood. With old font on straightened and flatened lense, without black tag and serial number. Probably it has been produced around 1992.... |

36. Grubba All+
Weight: 96 Gramms Sized: 15,3/15,0cm Here an old Version of the Grubba All+ with straightened and flatened old font lense, black tag and new font on handle. It was produced in 05/1992. The Grubba All+ is one of the most sold blades in the allround section, with much control and soft Feeling the blade was often recommanded for beginners with Sriver Rubbers. It is not fast, but is providing very much control. When I was a kid the Grubba All+ was the first blade i ever had and was released at about the same time the Nittaku Magic OFF/Solution blades were also introduced.. If i remember right there were a lots of good Players in Europe in These years like Waldner, Persson, Saive, Gatien, Roßkopf, Primorac and of course Grubba.. The blade was not in a good shape when i bought it, but it was very good repaired in the south-west Region of Germany. Many Thanks again for the really fantastic work.... 38. Butterfly Grubba All+ (EU)
Weight: 77 Gramms Sized: 15,7/15,3cm Here the EU Version. Compared with the old Versions the EU Version is very light. The used colors have changed, too....If you use the old one and the EU-Version there is a huge difference |

39. Butterfly Power-7
Weight: 88 Gramms Sized: 15,3/15,1cm 7-ply-wood, with old tag. A very good blade for fast and hard strokes, quick topspin and counter attacks. Rated as Off+ it is a very hard and stiff blade but is still providing a good control and Feeling. Older Versions had the old font on blades head and straightened and flatened lense. Only produced with FL handle. Later i was able to catch the old font Version as well. Edited by Timo1978 - 02/17/2015 at 1:09pm |

40. Butterfly Clearfield
Weight: 92 Gramms Sized: 15,7/15,2cm a 7-ply-woodwith Koto Outers coming with old tag was released in 1992. The Clearfield is a very stiff blade and hard blade. Chen Jing that won the Olympic Games 1988 in Seoul was using the Clearfield for close to the table Play. Later she was joining Lübeck to Play in the German League. I do not think it is a good blade for loopers, but very good Players seem to be able to handle the Clearfield even for Looping...for most Players it is just a good blade for playing strokes with short pips... Blade Composition is: Koto-Koto-Abachi-Abachi-Abachi-Koto-Koto Edited by Timo1978 - 04/05/2014 at 11:27am |

41. Butterfly Repiaredo
Weight: 89 Gramms Sized: 15,9/15,3cm 5-ply-wood with old tag. The Repiaredo is rated OFF- and is providing a soft feeling,a good blade for loopers that need much control. To me the design is one of the nicest ones Butterfly ever released. In Germany the blade was never really available so not many players were or are still using it. 42. Butterfly Panic
Weight: 92 Gramms Sized: 15,6/14,8cm Here the follower of the 1970ies Butterfly Panic Model member Magic-M was sharing at a former post. A 5-ply-wood produced for allround play providing soft feeling and much control, perfect for playing modern defence with inverted and pimples out Rubbers. The Print on head says "light weighted" but i doubt that a 92 gramms blade can be called light... Edited by Timo1978 - 02/17/2015 at 10:05am |

43. Coleus Fast
Weight: 86 Gramms Sized: 15,5/14,5 cm 5-ply-wood, rated Off with old tag. Here the faster version of the Butterfly Coleus. A light but stiff blade. In Germany very rare, i think it has not been sold in Europe, maybe it was more sucessfull in Asia or the States. Edited by Timo1978 - 02/22/2015 at 4:48am |

44. Butterfly Madash
Weight: 86 Gramms Sized: 15,7/14,9cm with straightened and flatened lense and old tag Madash is a 5-ply-allwood, rated OFF and providing medium feel. Bai Yang was using it as main blade in the past, a great blade for Looping from half-distance. Blade Composition should be: Planchonello-Walnut-Balsa-Walnut-Planchonello Schlager used the Madash when he captured the 1996 US Open Doubles Championship. I first read it has been released in the early 2000, but i guess it is much older due to the straightened lense. Refering to an old Asian catalogue i think it was made in the 1990ies, due to the new font on head after 1991 and mainly made with FL-handle, priced at 5000 Yen like the Adolescen..but I know there were only a few ST handles made... Update: Now i am completly sure Madash has been released in 1993. Edited by Timo1978 - 02/17/2015 at 3:43pm |

47. Butterfly Allways
Weight: 82 Gramms Sized: 15,7/15,1cm with New Logo Butterfly Sticker After Blaszcyk left Butterfly and went to Tibhar Butterfly decided to change the Name of his model. So the Allways was Born... Strange, since the Allways is rated ALL and not Off but has the same handle like the Struse series and less thickness |

48. Butterfly Blaszczcyk (All)
Weight: 80 Gramms Sized: 15,7/15,1cm The Allround model here with old tag, but not Made in Japan. Regarding the complete design and the Chosen colors Butterfly created a very good looking blade. Maybe I am wrong but I think for the Allways model Butterfly took the handle design of the Struse series and combined it with the veneer composition of this model to create a Kind of follower model.... |
