I've heard some new ways to boost your rubbers and I need to know the best way to boost the Donic Blufire series M1, M1 Turbo, JP p01 and jp01 Turbo and Tenergy 05, all Max thickness.

Personally I glue one layer of glue, let it dry before one layer of falco but it only last for about 2 weeks or 6-7 trainings.

If I put 2 layers of boost its last a bit longer but it's quite difficult though it can easily get "overboosted" (really bad)

Any good tips how you can put more boost without get it overboosted?

Well, haven't tried boosting without the glue layer. For me and according to other forum members, the glue layer acts prevents quick absorption of the booster, which if it reached the topsheet layer will cause the rubber to bubble. :)

I use seamoon... Naked on the sponge.   Never bubbles... But then all my rubbers are esn rubbers.. Not Chinese rubbers.

Chinese rubbers bubbles easily because of its hard topsheet. therefore recommend to glue before boost. Or less layer of boost to prevent bubbles but more often.

When you say bubbles, do you mean on top of the sheet or "inside"?

I do not recommend boosting over glue unless you don't use max thickness rubbers, it takes longer to dry and is easy to make the combined topsheet/sponge/glue layer over the 4mm maximum.  Had this problem a lot at the US Open and had to reglue my rubber without boosting the glue.

Boost directly to sponge to your liking and glue it with one layer of wbg on sponge and one layer on blade when dry.

You have a point there! But I'll take my chances with a second racket in my case :(

Think it's getting over 4.0 mm even if I use thin glue as Donic Blue contact 2 layer of glue + 2 falco long + 1 layer of glue?

When do you apply the 2nd layer of booster? 12-24 hours after the 1st one? Or after the 1st layer becomes dry?

Began to boost my new Bluefire Jp01 Turbo a few days ago. 2 layer of Blue contact, let it dry, boost with Falco long, dry, boost again, and now letting it dry last time before I'll put it on my blade. Hopefully I can play with it on the next weekends tournament with some practise before :)

Does JP01T really need boosting?

Tried my BF M1 today. 2 layer Blue contact, 3 thin layer of Falco long and 1 layer of glue + 1 on blade. (24 hour between boost layer, 48 hour after the last one)

It went much better than I had expected. I hope it doesn't get to soft or muchy after a few trainings though.

And for the first time I didn't put boost at the end of the spong, left 1 cm from the end of spong so it don't get thicker than 4,0 mm in the corners..Thumbs Up

What happens if you put a glue layer first, then boost it. Then after finishing boosting (when the dome has subsided), you remove the glue layer and applied a fresh one. Does it remove the boosting effect?

Although I have not tried it myself, I think that it does not remove the boosting effect at all since the booster has already traspassed the glue layer.

It could happen that the effect doesen't last so long since the "tuned" glue still contains some booster itself, and, if removed, the boost effect might not last for such a long period.

I hope it helps,

Guillem.
