honey on rubber?

A friend added honey on his Tenergy rubbers in order to make it more spinny.  I told him to simply replace them, but he didn't want to.  Will honey actually ruin the topsheet?  Is there another alternative that he can use to "boost" his Tenergy rubbers instead?  Are Tenergy "boostable"?

His Tenergy has about 60% life remaining.  He doesn't know much about equipments, so he just followed his friend's advice of applying honey on the topsheet, in order to make it sticky since honey is known for its stickiness.  No rocket science stuff, just simple deduction.  Though I'm not sure if that's a logical deduction or not.

It will attract bears.  Therefore I can't recommend it. 

Honey? No. Bee wax? Yes, that does make some sense to try.

i've seen some guys use cooking oil on the topsheet too (they said when it dries out, it very sticky). I'm not really sure about that but OMG...what the world become into?

is it because Butterfly rubbers are too expensive nowaday? LOL

Liulin have you played with it yet? i am kinda intrigued on how it will play!!! will it be like the super tacky chinese rubber that we used to have???
