First of all, I have to admit that Butterfly makes good products.  However, their restrictions have driving some of us away from their products.  I am just wondering what do you buy/use besides Butterfly.

I do like butterfly but I agree; their prices, restrictions, blade discontinuing, and marketing to say the least are questionable... more like unfair to be honest.

If there was no butterfly I would guess Xiom would be pretty popular for composite blades and rubbers.

For all wood blades Nittaku and Stiga would take it.

Also, Yasaka makes fine blades and decent rubber for a good price.

My vote is Xiom due to a wide variety of products offered at different prices.

I love Stiga and Avalox (AVX) blades. Made in Sweden, nice quality and thicker grips. :)

Buttfly is crazy. :)

I'm confused, can't you get butterfly products anywhere? What "restrictions" are you talking about? Also, what's so bad about blade discounting?

I'm just curious about why you say these things because I'm not that familiar about the table tennis world just yet.

you can... but everywhere outside of japan and maybe korea people are overpaying for BTY products because of the current market/economy.

a lot of classics have been discontinued in handles that a lot of players would still prefer. In general USA butterfly website does not get many ST handles of their blades, they are mostly FL.

etc, etc, etc...

I'm going through a cheapo phase at the moment, so Yinhe gets my vote in "Other".

Honourable mentions to Donic and Tibhar though.
This was a great signature until I realised it was overrated.

In Korea, BTY is way overpriced. Still $80 for Tenergy. Their prices haven't come down even though the yen has taken a beating.
