i heard the serial code is not a good way to tell if it is authentic or not since it can be fabricated easily

Fabricated easily? I doubt it. The guy who posted that info supposedly paid for a fake rubber and paid extra for a legit serial code. That doesn't make sense to me. I'm not sure if he knows how that code was obtained, whether it was fabricated or just pulled off a legit product. Maybe he misunderstood the vendor - if you pay extra for a legit code, the vendor sends a legit product. In any case, in order to fabricate the code, you have to know the algorithm used. Is it possible the algorithm was leaked? Maybe. If it were, then all DHS has to do is change the parameters to the algorithm and any numbers generated using the old parameters would fail verification. I wouldn't put much stock in those rumors.

And buy $60+ Tenergy. It is not easy to have peace of mind when there is doubt you might pay $40-50 for a lemon. Not only the money wasted, the fake will have sub-par quality for your play. I wonder why DHS does not distribute general market of Premium or Pro version. There are big market for good quality of H3. Bigger than stupid Memo or weird stuff DHS tries to push. Even double/triple the price of current commercial ones, good amount of players will buy it. It still not expensive than other rubbers. Edited by aroonkl - 02/01/2015 at 12:15am |
