Oh, it seems that the previous owner sanded a lot of the neck-area, compared with the pictures of the original Viscaria like shown by Dean. The handle is placed as deep as on the old Stiga blades (from the 60`s) now. You can be sure, that the playing-skills are different to the original Viscaria. This blade here will be less stiff, with more vibration and of course the balance is different. Don`t misunderstand me: I don`t say, that the playing-skills of this modified Viscaria are worse or better than the original Viscaria. I only say, that it will play "different".

It plays well. I have had that blade for a while now and the grip is surely comfortable. It might play different, might play even better, who knows, right? :) firehand that I am using has been modified same way and it plays better comparing to other 4 firehands I had. Pictures are showing everything. The blade is surely not vibrating and is AS STIFF AS THE ORIGINAL ONE. No need to jinx the thread. PMS have been answered.

Unfortunately I was unable to find my Kutchen scale, therefore I can't weight the blade... Its still available and I am open to offers. Thanks

Update (got a new scale). Blade weights 90g, which is pretty good weight for Viscaria :)
