MX-S is now available, at least in Germany.

Did you put the order in? MX-S is getting a lot of positive buzz in Germany at the moment.

From what I've read, MX-S is the spin-orientated Evolution line.  Not as fast as MX-P (no slouch though) but higher throw and more reliable grip.  So a modification for plastic, essentially.  Sounds perfect to me.

Tibhar said they will send me a few mx-s rubbers once they get hold of their stocks. I will be receving my Adidas Protec D20 and D30 blades in 2 weeks time so I am so excited! Srping time and summer time are the days when a lot of new rubbers and blades would come out!

Brilliant stuff, can't wait to hear about it.

Any news on where they came from?  The language barrier is a bit tricky with these smaller german webshops.

This I may try.  I almost never buy equipment without trying it first, but for this I may make an exception.

It's had some very favorable reviews on the German sites over the past week.  I suppose you have to accept a bit of Google translate-related hype error from me.  I'd really like to get my hands on a sheet though...

And ordered! Expect a dodgy review thread in the near future.

As it is 50 deg, my guess is that it is nothing but unboosted or 'more raw' MX-P. I highly recommend trying out Rakza X as well (another 50 deg sheet).

I'm not sure it's 50 degree yet. And the pip structure is supposed to be quite different, with large pips.

MX-S and RXS sound interesting, although I won't switch to the plastic balls soon (at these prices, quality and durability issues).

Regarding new ball transition, check the results of the poll at one of the greatest TT forums:

Some interesting stuff on the LARC, as ever.  I'm hesitant to put anything in the list that doesn't have an obvious example of packaging though.  Sometimes the LARC stuff never actually appears on the market.

Xiom also has Vega SPO, Vega LPO, Musa III, and Omega IIx.  Pips out versions of Vega?  I can see a SP, but a LP Vega sounds a bit odd to me.
