Okay so It's been two days. Ever since I took out the lkt glue (had a small bubble, perhaps the glue came loose) took forever to squeeze it out of the carbo sponge) from my Omega IV pro max, she's been doming. I tried to glue her with tearmender thinking lkt glue is bad for my blade, and that failed. Now i left her alone for 2 days straight. She's still at the same level of doming.
I had originally ruined her with wd-40 , can that be the reason why it's doming? perhaps it stretched the top sheet, like tuner does to h3 sponge ( shrinks it)
I'm under the impression stretching top sheet will have the same effect as shrinking the sponge right?

what are my options?

what's crazy is that my red side, which is also max. Has no problem. When I cleaned em both with wd40... and ruined em :/

wd40. haven't heard of someone trying that one yet haha. so clarify for me this, are you gluing the rubber on and then it's continuing to dome enough to put an airbubble in the center of the paddle?

Im sorry It's just hard to explain while I'm ripping my hair out. Truth be told my Omega is old, I figured why not.
Currently It's creating a bubble, the dome doesn;t fully disappear even after gluing. Currently it looks like h3 that got hit with 2 layers of booster and been left for 3/4 hours.   All glue is out of the sponge. its sitting still atm.

should i try to tune the sponge with oil, hopefully it'll reverse the effect ?

Wd40 is for the topsheet.  I've never heard of putting it on the sponge.

Wavestone St with Illumina 1.9r, defender1.7b

Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

Im unsure what you are saying here
you tuned your top sheet with wd40, Is that to put oil spots on other peoples gear?
the rubber is now domed and won't stick down
there is a separate bubble between the top-sheet and sponge
your rubber is old and worn

hmmm sorry nothing comes to mind, ..........but keep looking at the rubber

no why would i do that to put spots on others gear. It's not on the surface. Heck, you cant even feel it if you run your fingers through it. How would i get it on the ball , or someones gear?

No the bubble I'm referring to is between the blade and the rubber. It's refusing to stick down, due to the dome. I need help to reverse the dome effect. should i tune the sponge with oil?

Thx!  It looks prettier than I thought for a four-year-old hag that has undergone all these treatments.

I have had an old Hurricane 2 Neo that reverse-domed just as bad after 1 year or so and the Haifu water-based glue was still strong enough to make it stick.  I can think of three options for you here - buy a new one, buy a new glue, or buy both.

Sure, I have heard of people putting wd-40 on topsheets.

supposed to rejuvenate rubber and keep it from drying out.

I have never tried it myself but i would assume its not the wd40 causing the dome.

put it under a fan and wait or get a new sheet.

Boost the sponge to the point where it domes the other way and at the point where it is flat or so, glue it hard.

You're spending more on the equipment and time spent than just purchasing a new rubber would cost you ;)

Ah, a nice reverse dome, spread a few coats over time of Ur favorite oil and wait a day or two. In the meantime, take pics every 8 hrs and make a bigger thread, it could get fun.

Put some Baby Oil on the sponge and it will expand the sponge.
