My blade is with Balsa and Limba woods. Balsa is a very popular wood; gives good control and associated with corbon allows you to attack without many problems and no vibrations.
Blade - Butterly X5 balsa carbo Off;
Front -Donic JO Platin soft 2mm
Back hand - BUTTERFLY Challenger 1.5 mm (short pips)
Style - Close table attack

holy mojo... i was about to start a similar thread yesturday... just for sharing what we think the plies are in the blades out there.

OC has koto outer plies.
7p-2a is all hinoki (obviously)
primorac carbon: iduno, but i think it is hinoki outer, carbon, then balsa center.
YE, maybe a balsa core? its a light blade

i'm just curious because i like making blades and i want to see what wood they use for the blades out there to learn more about the wood characteristics in table tennis.

i feel teh same as you i like beautiful blades. if the blade handle looks ugly, i play so bad with it, even if it is the best blade in the world.
