Hi Everybody,

i made a topic in "For Sale" section about  Tibhar Samsonov Force Pro Balck Edition but I need some advise on it.
Actually I playing M. Maze ,but  sometimes the blade is too stiif and hard for me. I decided to change a blade to non composition 7 ply all wood blade, which i assumed had more soft touch, but is still fast.

I look around 7ply all wood blade: Limba -Ayous- Ayous-Ayous-Ayous-Ayous-Limba

My frist choice was Tibhar Samsonov Black Edition - I read Yogi Bear review- but in my country noone has it in stock:(
So I check another blades. Here are the list ( all the same kind of plies )
I pointed these which interests me a most

Yasaka Max Wood
Nittaku Ludeack
Joola Viva
Galaxy/Yinhe M-6
DHS PG7
DHS 506
Donic Persson Powerspeed
Butterfly Korbel SK7
729 L5
Adidas Strike Wood 7
Adidas Challenge Speed
Andro CS7 Tour
Avalox BT777
DHS Hurricane Long II
Donic Baum Carrera Senso
Donic Master Power Ultra
Donic Persson Seven
HRT 2091
Nittaku Adelie OFF

Maybe some of You playing  this blades and can advise me which will be the best choice?

I Need fast blade, as fast as M. MAze,  TB ALC, can be faster, but still with control to keep boll on the table a specially from backhand site. First ball i play with lots of spin but second, third I try to end it ( if i Can of course Smile) with strong topspins or smash

Thanks All for any advise:)

Michael

Some of these are stiff like Maze, especially the thicker ones (>6.5mm).

Because of this, I would chose Avalox BT777 or P700.

Most of these blades are faster than Maze. You are going in the wrong direction, because the carbon ADDS control, not remove it. But if you want a little slower and softer, with the same feel, get a Korbel. It has the same wood as Maze does, less the carbon. Actually feel is not quite the same, but you can feel the limba even better.
But again, you are going in the wrong direction. Carbon makes the blades more stable. No wood will ever be as homogeneous as synthetic material. And Maze is not fast at all, really not fast.

Many different blades you have listed there. Some are slower than Maze or the same speed. Some are faster. Some have more ball feeling, some less. Some have lower throw angle or the same as Maze, some have higher throw angle.... 7-ply is about the only thing in common. Confused

Out of those you have in bold, if you want around the same top-end power as M.Maze ALC, with around the same throw angle, but with more ball feeling, and more lower gears, give the Korbel SK7 a try... To put it simply, it has very similar power, but more control than M.Maze. My 2 cents.

(The big difference will be that Korbel SK7's can be very heavy compared to M.Maze blades.)

Thanks,

in my opinion my ALC Adds stiffness and  I would say in passive, short game I don't have enough feel on ball.
For me all wood blade will have always more soft touch ane more flexibility  than composite ( c0mapare 7ply wood and 7ply wood AlC/Carbon blades - of course not in all cases

Speed is not a issue for me because a I have lot of control in may left hand:) but if feel lack of elasticity in my game. I can have a very fast blade but with balanced control and medium hardness

I admit that I don'd supposed that is so difference between those blades, when they are all have this same construction of plies:) I though that the blads are quite similar:)
That is Why I'M asking You guys about yours reflections about it?

The adidas challenge speed and force pro black are almost equal in speed and they are very fast. Get the adidas strike wood 7 because it is more contrlae and a bit softer in feel.

Hayabusa zxi fits my game perfectly. Its slow if need be. Fast exactly when i need it. Perfect on pushes, short flicks, rallies. If ball jumps due to my bad timing, i run 4-6 ft off and still maintain superb power. I would ask you to look a bit into it.
The price on megaspin is steep. Its 110 on t11. I bought brand new for 90.
Then theres also stradavarius . Same composition except for the zephillum carbon on zxi, is aramid on strad.
Im selling my old strad for 45$ .

I would ask you to look into that as well.

After the first training session.. I'm sure, that I needs time to get used it:)
My first impressions was... like I played with empty wooden box:)
After few years playing composite blades the difference was enormous:)
In terms of speed I don't feel that Adidas(OFF+) is so quicker, faster then M. Maze ALC..
But definitely ball feeling and touch is much softer compare to any composite blades which I played.

I'm sure that after few sessions It will be easier for me to play and this blade became a great weapon:)
