Unfortunately I have not played with these blades, they are brand new, but I played with other blades made by Levi, they are very popular and appreciated in Romania. The top players in Romania also plays composite blades made of Levi.

Great looking blades, looks quality, do you know what type of wood is used to make the handles, looks similar to my Sweden Classic handle.

The handles was made from black walnut (for OFF+ blade) or wenge (dark brown).

Fish scale pattern. Unless youre playing above 2300/2400 , theres no use in going for a blade with such pattern. Most wont be able to differentiate between gameplay. More for aesthetics, than actual use.

There are also viscarias with this pattern.

You fancy huh?

I am amused by people at a level Q who argue that nobody can or should do some thing until they reach a level X, where X is much greater than Q, and there are many discrete intervening levels between Q and X.

Im not at level Q. Im only passing along the info I have come across. You dont have to agree with it. Heck, you dont even have to care.
Dont become so emotional over someones opinion.

I ordered  the above basalt blade 5+2 from  Johnny E.  which the USPS says is out for delivery today.  Very easy to do business with him.  Just PM him with spec's and he will respond quickly.
