Has anyone tried it? I hit with it for a few moments with GeneralSpecific at Westchester on Saturday. It played pretty well and it felt like they were using seamless ball material to make a seamed ball. Looked in some ways like a Nittaku Premium. Can't comment on durability obviously, but I would definitely like that to be given good consideration. May order a few from TT11 to test further. It might just be a DHS/DFish clone but it didn't feel like it initially - need independent confirmation.

I like putting heavy topspin on the ball...
Cybershape Carbon FH/BH: H3P 41D. Lumberjack TT, not for lovers of beautiful strokes. No time to train... |

Yasaka came pretty late to the ball party, so I guess that buying a box might guarantee a recent manufacturing date. If only someone could tell us the code on the box....

I tested one of these balls Yasaka 40+ before 3 months. I still have that ball somewhere.
I remember that I compared it with Nittaku SHA 40+. Yasaka's ball was little more faster and lighter. Nittaku SHA 40+ specially for me are tragic ...low jump, heavy, slowly, very hard and less spin...and not so oval... I am not absolutely sure who is making the Yasaka's balls, but I suppose it is Yinhe... I haven't tested Yinhe's balls, but the blue color stamp is looking the same... I could be wrong, but this is my own imagination. Could someone say how many manufacturers of poly balls there are in China? I know only DHS and Yinhe. |

Unlikely - the Yasaka ball is seamed, and Yinhe's are seamless. With it being seamed, it's either DHS or Double Fish...probably.

I bought a box of Yasaka the same time as Butterfly. Code on Yasaka is XIAD and Butterfly is XAAE. |

XIAD - Sept 2014 XAAE - Jan 2015 Hmmmmm. Still better than the June '14 dates on the Stiga and DHS boxes. Any thoughts on how they play comparatively?

That's certainly the cheapest way to play these days!
