Attila Malek, a National Level Coach and former U.S. Men's Singles Champion, coaches at the San Diego Table Tennis Club. You may contact him I presume through the San Diego TT Club website. I don't know how much Mr. Malek charges per lesson/hour.

I highly recommend Perry Schwartzberg for adult students. He now lives in San Diego.

Thanks for all the replies. I have heard of Stellan, but I know he is quite expensive. I play at SDTTA so I will see if I can find Attila Malek. Baal - do you have contact info for Perry Schwartzberg?

There are adult training camps on wednesday evenings that Angie and Stellan host. Worth going for sure, only $30. Perry and DJ Alto also have their own training groups as well.

Sadly I was unable to make it to a class on Wednesday - just too much to do in SD isn't there?
However I was able to make it to the round robin on Thursday night. I must say I really liked the idea. You play your round robin and your rating changes up or down based on those results. I played some very nice people including a up and coming junior. It was a blast and I highly recommend it if you are in town. Now about my game after a week off and lack of sleep + too much drinking.... Time to get back to training! |
