There's a lot of options.. What kind of blade do you prefer? (soft/hard, flexible/stiff...)

Based only on the info you provided, I would recommend Waldner Senso Carbon JO Shape. You can get at TT11 for 49 euros.

All wood or composite? 5ply or 7ply?

Either way, you cant go wrong with:

Stiga Clipper
Bty SK7
Tibhar Force Pro Black Edition
Donic Persson 7

All are 7ply blades, good for attackers with lots of feeling. Medium hardness and little flex but great stability and big sweet spot.

Stiga Clipper should work fine but there is a lot of good cheap alternatives out there.

Adidas Avenger 5 is a superb blade in the OFF- class. Blade of choice of Sabine Winter. Great for spin loaded loops close to table. It's quality gets me all jiggly inside.

How could we forget the BTY Primorac? Great blade but the FL grip feels a bit small.

Seal it and ask for 88-90 gr.

I am not a fan of the Butterfly Primorac - overrated, unresponsive to good feeling and overpriced.  IMO, all the options I listed are much better both for playing and in terms of value for money.

I agree it's overpriced but then so are many BTY blades. I believe like all wood blades except for OSP and Ross's blades you will find "Duds" or ones that have bad feeling. I don't fault the manufacturer but rather the wood itself due to every sheet of wood can be different due to climate, place where harvested, rain fall etc.

How is the Yasaka Sweden Extra compared to Yasaka Ma Lin EO?  I cannot find any reviews on the Yasaka Sweden Extra.

Yasaka Sweden Extra = Yasaka Extra revised with a different handle.

Oh, and for a review (if one can call it that):

I am not a fan of the YEO per se (I once thought I liked it) as it's too hard for what I like to do these days.    If you like hard contact without the feeling of dwell, the YEO works great.  The Yasaka Extra to me fills an interesting sweet spot - ALL+/OFF- but good for hitting as well as looping.  The speed may turn some players off, but for me, the speed and the balance are perfect as I prefer my balance more towards the handle.

xiom stradivarius was around 66 a few weeks ago. If you can put down a few more dollars, try and get that. You probably won't have to upgrade your blade for the next 5 years.

Its off- in my eye.

Hayabusa zxi is off. Strad and zxi cant be the same. Zxi is much faster but in no way off+ even though they mark as such.

Anyways, i would look into hrt clipper then. 18$ . Same composition as clipper. slower. Around off-
