Here's an interesting video with some pro players in it I made. It's filmed for the side and you can only see like one half of the table. Especially nice to look at the services, footwork and positions. 00:04 - Ma Lin 01:11 - Allan Bensten 02:35 - Wang Hao 03:54 - Danny Hiester 05:22 - Tamara Borros 07:03 - Liu Guozheng 07:58 - Smirnov http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NT0DZXW4 On request I can also upload these videos: Chuan Chih-Yuan Fujinuma Hielscher Enjoy. |

Thanks master-pong for the video, it really was definitely interesting because the side view of the players is not something we see frequently. I must say that I was shocked to see some of the players--they have horrendous footwork!! (N.B. I'm not implying that my footwork is better) . The second guy, who I have never heard of before, and Hiester have the worst footwork of any pro that I can remember. They look like basement players, constantly being off balance and relying on their wrists to get their shots in. I think that if you were to block out the players' faces and showed their footwork to a coach the coach would think this guys are terrible tt players. |

Chinese have better footwork if you ask me. Although Bensten's and Heister's footwork isn't terrible |

`Bensten' is actually Bentsen, he is currently No. 62
in the world and he beat Chen Wei Xing at the European Team Championships, so I guess he is not EXTREMELY bad. |

I think they all have very good footwork, I didn't feel anything weir to Bentsen's movement, all I would say is when can I move as good as them and how to achieve it ??
Once again, thanks for the video Master-Pong, I have watched it more then 20 times now :d.. |

You believe you'll get a virus when you download from megaupload.com? Because such thing never happened to me, and I've downloaded quite a few videos now from that place. Chuan_Chih_Yuan: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=89RR8ZPQ Interesting to see how fast Chuan gets into position after service, he makes this little 'jump'....I don't see many european players do that. |

the first film was really good, and interesting... was cool watching them from that angle, and a little closer than usual... they seemed more normal and human from that angle...

i notice that some players (mainly bensten and Heister (especially heister)) stand completely on the side of the table, i thought there was a rule that your feet cant cross the end line of the table... hard to explain hope u understand what i mean
