I wonder is there a damage if i put adhesive protective film over the rubber for long time e.g week without play ?
and does it differ between non tacky rubbers and tacky chinese rubbers? thanks in advance |

One week is not a problem; however, ~1/2 year can be a problem

It's normally not a problem for non-tacky sheets, but for tacky (sticky) rubber I would only use normal plastic sheets.

I have been using protective sheets for a long time now. For sticky chinese rubbers, use a normal plastic cover as haggisv said. For any other rubber, go with the Sticky protector sheets and they would help prolong the life of your rubbers by quite some time.
