I am considering on getting a c-pen blade from stiga and there are lots of choices like ebenholz , intensity , infinity, clipper, ect
So it would be good that everyone can share their experience with stiga cpen ie.thickness , weight distribution and attributes of the blade Thank you for ur input |

It would be helpful if you described your style of play so we can give you some better guidance.

I am generally an offensive topspin player, always trying to put lots of spin into the ball in my serves .
I love looping and flicking so I am most probably sticking to DHS skyline 3 for forehand as for backhand I will just fit a lightweight Euro style rubber for rpb( I still not that gd at it but its a fun transition from traditional backhand) |

The Stiga Nostalgic Series CPENs are heavy in my opinion, only the All Around I think is reasonable weight (77g) the others are all around 90g which is pretty darn heavy for a cpen.

You can take a look of Avalox P900. It is for 40+ ball and is significantly better than Clipper. It is a 9-ply. Its looping likes a 5-ply, control likes 5-ply too, and smash likes a 7-ply. Standard weight is 88 g. Stiga's pen handle is too big to be comfortable. i (c-pen) used Ebenholz 5 and 7, clipper, Rosewood 5, and feel that Avalox P900 is a better choice overall. i recommend this one to our big group and at least 10 (ranging from 1650-2050 USA rating) are using it.

This Avalox P900 blade seems interesting. Do you happen to know if any online tt store sells the C-Pen version? I have been looking around but I couldn't find a site that carries it.
Also, what rubbers would pair well with this blade in your opinion? Thanks! |

Are you determined to get a Stiga blade? If so, a clipper classic is a good place to start. In general, I find Stiga blades a bit too dead, especially the classic “offensive” wood. I have a Titanium 5.4 CS that is supposed to be very fast, but I was disappointed. The Carbo 7.6 is used by a couple of friends who have solid blocking/control games, but can attack well when the chance is presented. I found the Clipper classic to be the liveliest of the ones i listed above. |

Contact AlphaTT - last time I checked, they had a few of them in stock even if it wasn't listed on the website! Great service from them.

If you do happen to land your 9 ply P900 a great blade, tryout modern dynamic OFF rubbers, like say Andro Rasanter, or Sigma II Pro or whatever rubbers of that class you can get Ur pawz on. Try Karis H if you like to BANG it on FH a lot.

“Dead” does mean lacking speed/power. Stiga PH handles are larger than most, and many people don’t like that attribute. |

The nostalgic all is rated all around but it is faster than a primorac off- blade.

tabletennis11 has Avalox P900 pen. I use Hurricane 3 provincial, and others here use MX-p, Donic Blue P1, T05, etc. I used 4 years Clipper, and have first hand experience to compare. Clipper's block and smash are great but looping is not good at all. Avalox P900 is faster than clipper and looping is great! tt11 has discount depending on your total order.
