Could someone explain why the first stroke is bad? Thanks, |

Looked like the first stroke was not starting low enough and then having to reach out and hit too much forward out of the correct strike zone. Seemed as if the coach was trying to emphasize waiting for the ball to come in closer to the body, letting the knees and arm really sink down, and then spinning up using hips and legs.

I agree with Jedi. She says in Chinese at 0:30 "hit the ball here, not over here".
So yeah, she's talking about hitting the ball in the correct strike zone, closer to the body.
