thank you! a very convincing LYJ indeed. It's amazing how he reminds me the spirit of CCH's game, only a generation later: take everything that works available, excel at all those compartments of the game, use them, in a well lubricated system that does not waste, as tools to conduct a well defined strategy. To me it is still trained soldier work while I see a paradigm change with Harimoto. Today we see that solid execution of what's proven still works great.
Those 2 really impress me. From a spectator's perspective, it's as advanced as it gets because they are less good at holding back their novelty, they don't manage as well as the 20yo+ (lgy being an exception because he is more emotional than average). The coaches, business side of their career and media pressure did not get to them that much yet, family layers of protection are still in place so when those 2 play, it's really the same game and body language we watch at the local club all the time, just better and faster.
I am looking forward to witnessing a decade of domination from that duo, starting when one of them clinches a big title. One of them making it will fire the other up real good. In Tokyo maybe?
Last, I find them special because one is pushing the ml/lgy style harmoniously while the other is building on timo and jun's; that's why is see the evolution of th's fh so weird, it is not on par with who he is, he gets 10% increase there but that takes 50% off from what brought him up, but that's another story.
OK true last, lyj's mental game is solid while there is room for th's to improve to be on par with older people on his stage, nothing wrong, just a huge factor, not only a 2 years difference is so big at their age, it is enhanced by the stakes.

It should be noted that this took place in February 2019 for the 2018/2019 T-League season.

MaLongFan youtube recently has had some clickbaityyy titles makes older matches seem like they just happened.

Not sure how they setup the matchups between players, but the teams will play again on August 29 and September 4 for the new 2019/2020 season.
