ok after great thinking .. here are my thoughts:

i think the chinese team needs Malong and Hao Shuai gain more points till the WTTC in zagreb also .. because Malong's World ranking now is 19th and hao shuai is the 16th .. so, they need both of them in the first 16 in the WR in order to guarntee that they wont face one of the top 8 before the round of 16

So, what im trying to say is that wang liqin and Malin hade orders from the chinese team to make Malong and Hao shuai win to gain more points

Thats what I think .. anybody agrees ??

and for the chen qi and wang hao losts i think they are ordinary not too surprising cause ko lai chak and schlager are not very far from them .

Anybody agrees ?

But I think the slots are not decided by the rankings but random drawing
. Maybe I am wrong.

no, it's decided by ranking--go to the croatian open draw for the round of 64 and take a look--you can see clearly it's by ranking and not random.

it's a f**king dump, that's what it is!!!  this time they all dumped, i guess, to pump up ma long's and hao' s rankings.

the other explanation is maybe they assume fans will get bored if the same 3 guys win all the damn time...  judging by the comments made here and on other forums and at the clubs, that's a fair assumption...

Damn, samsonov in some fine form... 4-0 against Ma Long ....Now what's next - wait, wait - let me guess : the chinese ordered ma to lose so they could raise samsonov's confidence, only to hurt him more when he loses to hao shuai in the final

No, they ordered Ma to lose in order him not to meet Hao Shuai at final in order not to hurt Hao Shuai confidence if ever Ma happened to win. I've had this confirmed undercover info by my brother in law who knows the cousin of coach Liu house keeper.

So did jcdi or Me40_Pyx really knew something about the Chinese coaches' elaborate plans?  Was 3ageeb accurate in his guess or not?  any clues?

If it is "decided", how came the word "draw", which confused me?
