Hey all,
I don't (or have ever) speed glued before. Mainly because i'm just to lazy to do so =) With that said, I have a few questions regarding normal glue. I was just wondering if there is any significant differences between the NORMAL glues that are out there (ie. stiga vs. DHS vs. etc...) and whether it would be of benefit to 're-glue' using normal glue and how often? thanks. |

normal glue is normal glue man....some stick better than others. butterfly clean chack is quite nice.....
otherwise if you're like my chinese friend who doesn't speedglue to preserve his rubbers, he uses this thick chinese glue to make H3 soft.

Normal glue is used to stick the rubber to the blade. It has a little speedglue effect but not enough to make it worth you time to reglue using it. If your concern is the bond the longer the rubber stays on the blade the better the bond so again no advantage to reglueing. Now if you want to liven up your rubbers you can use some speed glue when they seem too dead.

Even re-gluing with normal glue will make dead rubber produce more speed and spin. With re-gluing, many sheets will perform at or near their original spin and speed levels, even if they are 100+ hours of play old.
Speedgluing dead rubber will made an even larger difference. And will make many old sheets perform ABOVE their original levels. |

Use normal glue. These are not to be used with speed glue. |
