I am currently using Hammond X for FH. It's great but somehow not tacky enough (at least for me).
Thought of changing to Tackifire C which should be of similar characteristic of HX but the problem is I dont glue.
Appreciate your opinion on this rubber being unglued.

don't waste your money if you're not going to glue it regulary, without glue, it has no control, is really hard and fast impossible to block.
you have to try it glued!!!!! is amazing

I don't think that Tackifire C is similar to Hammond X.

I only think tackifire C is good for smash and chops. otherwise a horrible rubber. |

Be careful friend. I recently tried Tackifire C and it really has none of the spin and speed that Hammond X has. It is very slow and heavy.

Needs glue, otherwise is even worse than Bryce-unglued.

I tried it glued and unglued - it's no Hammond X.

ssiew968: I have tried both rubbers. Hammond X is way faster than Tackifire C. It's way too fast to be considered to of the same category in terms of speed with Tackifire C. Hammond X has low throw but the Tackifire C has a high throw. Tackifire C is very heavy. Tried it once and I wouldn't recommended it to anyone if weight is an issue.
I would however recommend you to get Bryce instead. Bryce is a little slower than Hammond X. But the spin's a little better. I believe the adjustment to Bryce is a lot easier.
IMO.
