    The way in which a few people entered the upcoming "Ontario Cup", and the manner in  which the draws are made, plus the poor communication resulting in disallowed entries-   show that factors other than pure love of the sport and the thrill of ( friendly) competition, are motivating individuals and organisations alike!  The primary consideration is to boost ratings, favour certain players, and presumptuously make choices for players, without their permission!  No need for further explanation, it s self evident to those in the know!  The  topic of the politics surrounding ratings and credit/discredit for matches won or lost, can wait for another day.
