Ok so here is my current setup..

Stiga All Metal
Sriver Both sides.. i think one is 1.7 and the other is 2.0. Maybe less on both.

The reason is this was used when i was in middle school back in singapore with the 3.8mm balls. And i had much less control at that time..

NOW im back in action. Playing at a local club..
What my bat feels like right now to me..
This 10 year old sriver still loops well believe it or not.. However i think its time to change.. =)

On short chops(backspins) i have trouble returning them becasue of the lack of bounce. Not sure this is due to the thickness or just becasue its time for it to retire.. =)

I Cannot remember if Stiga All metal was for speed or feel.. I really like the feel and think i can get a tackier and speedier rubber(but trying to stay max of 2.0) during this update. Also i think the tackyness of the sriver is totaly gone.. therefore i need some spin to my ball.. A month back i tried a DHS rubber and the tackyness was insane.. That might be abit much for me.

All suggestions are appreciated.. My style of play is "all around" trying to be more offesive.

Maybe something like Inspirit or Sprungfeder, quite spinny compared to Sriver but with a similar feel.

3.8mm balls? No wonder you had control problems. Imagine trying to loop that!

for 1 thing: srivers aren't tacky, never were and probably never will be.
good setup to start again and if you really want tacky rubbers might be:
Bty Primorac or Korbel with Geospin 2.0 rubber though if you want something more bouncy inspirit might not be a bad choice but don't take a too thick version since its supposed to be quitte speedy.
who says tabletennis isnt a sport?

Get it from Cole Ely: www.colestt.com. He's the one who brought the Inspirit to North America.

Wow shij421, I literally beat you to it by a few micro-seconds. When I posted that and it refreshed the page, your post came right after mine.
