**PLEASE READ** -> Forum Rules

These are the new forum rules that have been approved by Alex and the other Forum Moderators.  These rules were compiled with major contributions from pablogilberto, and the writers of the former rules.  For those that are wondering the Admin, myself, and the other forum moderators are deliberating over new rules concerning FS threads.  These rules are effective September 23, 2008 (09/23/08).

1. The Golden Rule - If you got nothing nice to say, don t say it, this site has had a lot of hard work put into it by Alex and other members, with all the video updates, pictures, etc. lets respect that.

2. Search Button Please use the Search button before posting a new thread.  Many forum members have already contributed to a large pool of information; all you need to do is search for it.

3. POSTS Please keep the language in posts clean; and post in English so that other members may understand what they are reading.  Please no discrimination, religious and or political debates.  Also please check available super-stickies.  These posts contain useful information that may answer your questions.

4. SPAMMING The Mytabletennis.net Administrator and Moderators will not tolerate spamming.  Spamming is posting non-sense, no-value posts within a thread or across different threads for the sole purpose of increasing one s post count; spamming is characterized by posting one-word or one-liners and successively doing it for a short period of time.

5. FLAMING - Do not flame, retaliate, threaten, or use the forum as a medium for flaming (ie starting or taking over threads just to flame, or anything to that extent.).  Flaming is directing abusive and insulting messages to another forum user.  If any member have a quarrel with one another please do it over the PM system.  If a member has further complaints contact the Forum Admin/Mod.

6. HI-JACKING OF THREADS - Posting unrelated or unwanted discussions to the topic is discouraged and the moderators have the right to delete derailed posts without warning. Posts that are completely off topic will be removed and the offender shall be dealt with accordingly. This also includes posting the same message in multiple forums.  It is the Thread Starter s (TS) responsibility to realign posters to the topic at hand if they feel the discussion is not within the context of the topic.

7. "REPORT" Button We can t catch everything so it will be great if you (the members of Mytabletennis.net) please use the "REPORT" button or send a PM with your concerns to the Forum Admin/Mods.

8. USERNAME - Usernames with bad/obscene language shall be deleted on sight. Having two or more usernames is discouraged and will be dealt with accordingly by the Forum Admin and or Mods.  Double handles can be a threat to forum harmony, especially when others try to use one s handle or pretend to be someone they are not.

9.  SELLING Any and all selling on Mytabletennis.net s "For Sale" forum will be of table tennis nature.  Sellers are to provide accurate descriptions of their products; pictures are encouraged.  Sellers willingly posting inaccurate information or pictures of their products will be dealt by the Forum Admin/Moderators.  MyTT is not responsible for any dispute that may arise for transactions between members made through the site. Please check the FS Forum for specific rules.

10. Discipline - The Forum Administrator and moderators reserve the rights to take necessary disciplinary actions on any user who frequently violate forum rules after multiple warnings.

11. Advertising or using the forum as a source of free traffic.
Members posting here for the sole purpose of advertising items they sell outside the forum, or to drive traffic to their own website, and do so repetitively without making any other contribution to the forum, will be warned and may face disciplinary action. The action taken will be at the discretion of the moderator team. If you re not sure if your posts violate this rule, ask a moderator before you post.
