I just bought and tried Saviga Max. It turned out to be a disppointment to me. The max, I think, should be 2.3mm, but it looks and feels thicker than 2.5mm (compared to my Tibhar D. Tech max). I expected it heavy, which is, but it's kind of too slow (compared to F1, F2).
Will speed gluing it make it faster?

Hi, Seanknight
How do you like inspirit Max 40*? Is it better than Saviga or the similar crap?

No doubt saviga or inspirit, compared to desto or bryce fx etc will be slower and spinnier. This is primarily because desto topheet is virtually slick after very little use. However it's still closer in feel than anything out there under $20 a sheet, and it definately has a great glue sound and effect.

i like the inspirit, been playing with it about 2 months now. good glue effect, soft feel, grippy topsheet. Its slower than the almana and optimum mp i was using previously, but I can still create plenty of speed with more control and more spin. plus it costs half of the euro/jap stuff

Yes, the Saviga and Inspirit gain a lot of speed and spin after gluing. The cork is very, very loud too.

If both speed glued, which is faster, Saviga or Inspirit?

They're the same. Saviga is discontinued now anyway.

also i noticed that the sponge is yellow..
is that a german sponge or is that japanese sponge?
looking forward to putting inspirit on my backhand side.. heck if alfred can smake the back hand with saviga like i watched.. then i can do it too !!! LOL..
