Depends what you're after.If you want histories of the game,player biographies etc,novels about the game,I can help you-or if you want plain good reading.
As to technical books,I'll leave that to someone else. |

crs2 The jack carrington book is excellent on technique and just the general approach of teaching yourself the modern game. Because its quite old the photos are not so exciting, but 90 % still applies to the modern game. Though out of print you should be able to get it on amazon |

I liked Radivoj Hudetz's Table Tennis 2000: Technique with Vladimir Samsonov for the most up to date discussions of technique I've seen.
Larry Hodges' Table Tennis: Steps to Success is a good overview but is more an instructor's manual for beginners, still good for the basics.
Danny Seemiller's Winning Table Tennis has some good stuff, particularly on serves and physical training from a former world class player.
