I ordered a speed 90 jpen a week ago for my friend i just recieved it today.This is by far the worst quality i have seen from a jpen ever!And let me tell you i have seen them all.First there is a dent on the front face not too bad but come on it's a speed 90.Then there are globs of glue on the backside cork not for sure if it is a patch for the cork or what ,and to top it of it is right where your finger sit . Then the to top it off it looks like they used 60 grit sandpaper on the sides of the blade, it is so bad i can't even really see the grain.I know there has been a high demand and darker has had trouble keeping up stock but don't send out junk!!!

THat is very unusual for DRAKER. I have a few of their blades and they are very well crafted. |

yeah i know i have had a few of there blades in the past but ths one is not very well crafted

I am going to wait and hear from iruiru before i fix it myself.I figure i can resand the edge and probably sand the glue off the backside and that little dent will just have to stay,if my friend is ok with it or maybe i will just have to return it.

Hmmmm....very sad to hear that. Maybe PRC are buying too many hinoki blades and they just can't cope up with the order.

Ah I hope not ryno...Darker was one of very few companies that provided great quality for a reasonable price. |

Now I have come to one condition that we must state when we place the order in future, that is to ask M/s Suzuki to check and confirm that there is no flaw on the blade. Only after her confirmation that everything is ok then we can confirm the order.
