Hi all! I would like to try the blade from Yasaka. I need a blade, which is similar to BTY Petr Korbel. Now, i've Kong Linghui Special with Mark V (2.0) on both sides and feeling that the board is too fast for me. Thanks.

As far as I know, there are exist both. I plan to buy the blade in iruiru, so it seems to me that this blade produced in Japan.

http://www.iruiru.com/e/bc/bc09.html has a list of iruiru yasaka bats

there is a list of yasaka blades, but all of them seem to be for penholders

if you want carbon blades but with good feeling you should try ma lin carbon or ma lin soft carbon, these are 5 ply wood+2 ply carbon, i think soft carbon is the best. it has the same wood veneers as the classic yasaka extra and the two carbon veneers are a bit softer than the normal carbon.

if you want all-wood blade, yasaka offensive 40 is great. for more control, extra is good and for more speed max wood is the best.
Blade: YASAKA Ma Lin Soft Carbon
Fh: YASAKA PRYDE
Bh: YASAKA Xtend HS

Forehandloop,
at iruiru website, Yasaka page 8 should be for the shakehand version.
Chornyi,
if you like Peter Korbel, than I think you should get it, like what Forehandloop said, but if you want other brand, than you should buy an all wood blade, because Korbel is an all wood blade (your KLHS is wood with arylate carbon). If I were you, I would take the Korbel, I heard many good things about this blade, and the price is quite reasonable. Or use a slower rubber on your KLHS.

Dear Kennie, can you explain more about Ma Lin Carbon vs. Soft Carbon?  Which one is better for (a) looping, (b) smashing,  (c) short game?  Does Carbon is faster than Soft Carbon?  In the Japanese catalog, ML Carbon is rated OFF and ML Soft Carbon is rated OFF-.  Is this rating true?  One last question, is ML Carbon hard like usual carbon blades?  I heard that Yasaka's carbon, such as gatien carbon feels more like all-wood blade.

Thanks.

ummm he's looking for a blade similar to the Petr Korbel....your recommendation of your rubber/blade over various threads is apparent....Max wood is a good blade but MUCH MUCH faster than Petr Korbel

My last blade was Yasaka Advance 3D and it's a very good allround blade. About as fast as Extra if not faster.  You could possibly try the Extra 7 or Offensive 40.
