Hey evrybody?

Do anybody knows it the temperature of the weather can Influence the parameters of the rubber?

I ask because on the additional appendix on the last rubber I bought written black on white that the weather above 18-20 degrees shorten the life of rubber :(

I just figured it out

That is correct! If the rubber gets cold or warm, it can shorten up its life...

You better keep it where it is right between cold and warm!

yup. if you'd play with a rubber that's 40C (almost impossible situation, i know, it's just an example) you would find it stickier (because the topsheet would get much softer) and faster too (don't know if it's the sponge or the topsheet that streches, but i'm pretty shure the rubber gets tensioned).

yea when its humid its very hard to loop as u get condensate on ur rubber and the ball just slips, and when its cold out your speed glue effect is not nearly as good nor is the rubber as elastic

So we have to consider both temperature and humidity.

Last winter I stored my racket in my car by accident and by the time I got to the club to play my racket was dead.

Actually it is a name of an island where the God of Wind lives. I believe it is the Greek mythology, so it has nothing to do with TT, and I am sure that they were shouting other words. Auguri!
