Did u like it? y or y not?

If you have the chance, the best way is to try it by yourself. It is not nice to buy a blade and later you found out that you don't like it. It happened to me before.
However to enable people to give advices to you, perhaps you should tell what blade you are using now.

This blade is quite thick (7.5) and hard. As a result you will get minimal dwell time and a corresponding reduction in control. IMO TBS, Michael Maze or Viscaria are much better for controlled looping. Unless your game is power looping from 20 feet back, I think you would not like it.

it is hard and fast, handle is kinda on the small side, quality is as good as your timo boll,I did not like it,If you want something faster than your timo this could be an option but you would be better off with a carbon blade then.I rate it a 7 for me personally

the balsacarbo is not worth the money and breaks to easily

my friends was completly trashed in 3 months the entire top layer was torn off and the carbon is poorly put in as well

i would reccomend a gergely, micheal maze, mazunov, or stay with you tbs

Iolite less control than TBS. Handle much much thinner. Hard feel and fast. Looping is OK if you have the right technique. If you want new, Iruiru.com selling at good price. Takes onlt 3 days to get to N. America.

I have an Iolite(84gr).It is a quick, agresive blade with lot of gears and an exellent control.Good for blocking, hitting, counter and smash.I even did chop!!!  quite well with it. It works very well with softer rubbers
I did not like:
the small handle(I had to use tape)
the head heavy balance(the tape helped)
the looping game with it
One must try it before buy it (may like it though)

Iolite is not good, it has no vibration, because of arylate carbon.  It is too soft and fast, so it has bad contol. I personally like hard feel blade with little vibration. Mayble M. Maze is better than Iolite, it's stiffer and got more control than Iolite.

Iolite is actually quite good. It's just that the blade is a bit too thick n handle is kinda thin n slim n therefore looks less appealing to ppl but it's right there in a special place together with TBS, KLH-SP, MMaze, Cofferlait n Viscaria. The ST handled 1 is quite rare which I tried months ago, it completely changed my perspective of it from then on. Whoever has the ST version should keep it 4 ever, I don't think u can find this anyway.

Well, I actually own the ST version. But it's heavy, around 93 gr. I just really dont' feel confidence looping with Iolite, because it is too soft and has no feeling at all. I put it with Sriver Fx on both sides it's like smashing a ball with pillow. Maybe I should try with harder rubber.

doesnt soft feel mean that the blade gives more respond? if a blade is soft it should be easy to controll souldnt it?

Mmaze is the only Arylate-Carbon in this bunch actually made ME feel like I was playing w/ a 5 ply solid nice wood blade. Mine didn't generate that kinda crispy ping ping sound. I've owned/played w/TBS, MMaze n KLH Sp but ended up only keeping the TBS.
