Is it easier to sand a handle from AN to ST than FL to ST?

How do I do it (from AN to ST)? What should I use? Last time I tried to
sand down the handle, it smeared the color of the handle and made it look really ugly, I couldn't get any of the sides perfectly even like a real ST handle and I scratched up the label really badly.
How can I get the sides even like a real ST handle? not all wavy and smeared.

u must be mad! Too much work n u might screw the handle up totally n it might jeopardize the playing characteristics. Not worth it or u can sell that blade to me cheap? 'cuz I luv that kinda handle.

Right..... I can only find the blade in AN (still talking about the joola legend here) so I was thinking of buying an AN and sanding it down to ST.

I have the same dilemma . . . traded for a nice Stiga Allaround Oversize, but AN is uncomfortable. I'm not sure if I should sell, trade, live with it, or get out the sander!!! I'm not so sure these things are that scientifically balanced, and even if they are what about the weight of the rubber? Some rubbers weigh almost as the blade and some are OX.

In conclusion: would you get much for selling or trading the blade for one with the handle you prefer? If yes, don't sand; if no, GET OUT THE FREAKIN' SANDER AND HAVE SOME FUN!!!

I wouldnt recommend sanding the AN down to a ST in the first place, You'll be screwing up the balance of the blade unless you modify the head size as well.

Its a much more feasible option to just sell it and find another similar blade in ST. I don't think your that picky that you have to stick to one blade in your life :)
