Stiga says:

SynergyTech Players want their rubber to do it all: More speed. Higher spin.
Greater control. Louder sound. Increased elasticity. STIGAs new
Synerg y Tech rubber combines all these goals. The X Factor is how
we got everything to interact at the nano
molecular level to ensure that you
have the complete
package on all your
shots.
Synergy Tech rubber is
the combined collaborative
effort of top table
tennis chemists from
Sweden and Japan. This
effort took over one year of intense research
and development in concert with
the development of STIGA Aqua Energy,
our new water-based VOC-free speed glue.
Synergy Tech + Aqua Energy = Unparalleled Success
What can you expect from this new winning combination of Synergy
Tech rubber and Aqua Energy speed glue from STIGA? The
same booming sound and speed-glue effect
that you enjoy from todays VOC-based
speed glues! This non-harmful and nonfl
ammable pairing will take your shots to
the next level of performance without limit.
The next era of table tennis begins today
with STIGA Synergy Tech rubber and Aqua
Energy speed glue.
 Nano-processed sponge using our
special Alpha compound
 Expanded sponge molecules
produce greater tension in sponge
and top sheet
Effect is ver y similar to that of VOC-based speed glues
Synerg y of speed, spin, control, sound and elasticity

I have tried almana synergy. It is faster ,has the same spin, but is louder. So far the best non glue rubber out there. My only complaints are it shrinks a little and there is soo much tension on this stuff as soon as you take it out of the package it curls up like a burrito kinda a pain to glue it on.
