I have never used bomb rubbers, but I have only heard bad things.

I tried one of the Provincial version of Bomb Raider... to be honest with you.. I didn't really like it.. it felt like a Japanese topsheet on chinese sponge... and the ridiculously big brand mark on the rubber really makes me feel annoying.. and also heavy...

PS: however, there are people who say it will be good with speed glue.. which I am not one of them

Jeez, I'm in kansas USA and I know that most of the stuff is fake. There can't be all this stuff made for the national team. Although a company can certainly claim that it was made for the national team. This doesn't mean that anyone on the national team would ever actually use it.

I'm quite sure that presports and eacheng know exactly what they are doing.

i hav used a bomb rubber b4, a frend of mine bought some bk frm china, the one i used had a inbuilt speed glue effect but of course its no match compared to a fresh glued rubber, however it plays like a high tensioned rubbers and has a horrible smell to it which gives me chest pains Confused

Wow, they're used by the chinese youth second team! I'm sure they're great players, although I'm not sure how much of a bidding war there was for that sponsorship.

I suspect this team would have a good chance against many national teams even with these 'low quality rubbers'.

I could be wrong, but to me 'youth' as a term outside table tennis would imply the mid to late teen years. Within table tennis, I don't know as the term is defined.

When I see Chinese National Youth Team (National Second Team) I don't read that as the 'Chinese Youth Second Team'. I would suggest that it looks to me more like the Youth First Team which would contain young hopefuls playing as a Chinese Senior Second team to gain experience.

Either way, there are many young Chinese players who would give their non playing arm to be in it and I don't think you should belittle their achievement in being selected for such a team.

My experience of Bomb rubbers has been a positive one, sheets of Violent, Raider and Bombard have done exactly what was expected of them. The black rubbers do look a bit scruffy, but this hasn't affected performance. The glue effect on the hard Epoch sponges was very good although I don't subscribe to Bombs view that they are like glued rubbers when used without glue. As for these National versions I think we should wait for someone to try them before we write them off.

They can be the supplier but chinese players used h3 on fh, i do believe that they are supplying the provincial team with clothing but for rubber, I doubt that.

One friend in Athens bought this rubber from presports. He is a very experienced player with very good performance in our B division. He said to me that this rubber is very good, something between Bryce and Sriver L. No tacky or sticky,  euro-jap feeling.
Also my friend is an enjineer like me, and he is responcible for quality control in a big factory. From his point of vew this rubber has optimum quality and it's more durable than a Sriver G2
I trust his words and i will order one from presports.

Had a hit with the same rubbers from the same guy.
UFO - Quality is definitely not National, topsheet and sponge can be seperated without hassle. Speed is not too blisteringly fast, maybe slightly slower than an Inspirit. Topsheet is completely tackless and as a result the throw is slightly low. I don't feel the tension in it as well. Overall a very ordinary rubber. A inspirit Quattro would make you much happier.
Bombard - Same as above with a higher throw. In my opinion its even better though it doesn't have the national crap all over it.

I bought a Bomb pink hard sponge a few years ago, and used it with a 729-2 topsheet, and I really liked it.

I never actually knew what it was, i just bought it from a small shop in China. Can somebody give me more information on Bomb?

I do not know much about them but i know that they have a very special version of 729 which is called 729 SHENFENG. Very thin 729 topsheet combined with the sponge called BOMB RED or BLACK DEVIL(but they have dyed the colour of the sponge in white). This is very fast rubber and also very hard to buy.

I have been rejected a few times when trying to buy it. Smile
