Do you think these 3 graphics of LKT blades are precise? or do you think they are making mistakes regarding power/control/flex levels?

The measurements and weights wont be far off. The speed, control and flex ratings may give a reasonable comparison between the 3, but I wouldn't know how these would compare to other manufacturers figures if that is what you are planning to do.

In terms of inter-brand comparison, The speed is low -- these are sometimes labelled as ALL+ to OFF- for the 5, and OFF- for the 7. To me the I-5 is more of a flat ALL, with the I-7 being ALL+; in other words quite slow when compared to euro brands. Note that this isn't a criticism -- many players play with equipment that's far too fast for them, and both of these blades offer enough put away power (combined with excellent control and high flex) to be used at increasing levels of play.

I think they're all screwed up. How can I and I+ be the same? Also regular intinct weighs an average of 74g.

Interesting view Jack.
And Cole, totally agreed...i think they are all messed up, specially the flex part and the similar I/I+ and i was also wondering about the weight difference, since some web sites don't seem to settle between those 70/85 grams for the regular Instinct. And you can't miss for 15 grams in a blade... |

If you're taking an average of all blades, instinct would be like 3 and I+ would be like 6. The hinoki ayous might be 4. They are made for control and just enough speed to attack.

Since they Pictures are off my site, Do you want to tell me whats wrong with them, Especially the weights. I think that the Pictures are earlier versions and the weights have been corrected.
I also think that the other rating are near enough, its hard to corelate a figure to a line graph. Figure's are out of 12, graph is out of 10. The Images were made more for the dimensions of the Blades, Which I can tell you are 100% correct. I measured them all with my Veneer Caliper. The problems with blade weights is that their is such a huge variece between batch's. The Instinct is about 74 grams, but on the Blade is printed 85grams, On the Instinct + is about 92grams, yet printing says the same 85 grams, Bit hard for a seller to please all. But I am Gladly open to all recommendations. |

I have upgraded it three times, I've had an extra 10,000 hits this month. Used 12gig of bandwidth, It will be online again on the 1st, SORRY.
Maybe I have to make some of the graphics and Pics Smaller, but there's nothing like good pics. |

If you say the weight belongs to earlier versions, then the only mistake there is to equal the Instinct with the Instinct+ (about the red V's)...and that can't be right. But of course, i didn't try them...that's why it was a question looking for a qualified opinion (like Cole's) rather than stating for a fact they were wrong.

very Similar to Hinoki, the Chinese are using Ayous timber because Hinoki is becoming very scarse, and expensive. its a cheaper substitute. |
