I never glued any rubber for that matter never assembled a racket myself. Going to assemble my first racket tomorrow but I am never ever going to use speed glue.
Without speed glue I think Sriver EL is a fantastic rubber, a great rubber right in between control and power. I use it in my BH side. I can loop close to the table and also drive ok from mid distance. Great for touch shots and also it last quite long. Haven been using over two months now and it is like new. A highly recommended rubber especially for beginner to intermediate players. Well sure I do not know Sriver EL feels with speed glue but I can tell you that it feels quite better than Bryce FX without speed glue. Its an allround rubber. |

Sriver EL without speed glue ? Sriver EL WITH speed glue: Faster. Little lower throw angle. The good thing is that the throw angle is good enough even unglued. Sriver EL WITHOUT speed glue: Better for passive game. Better in short game. In general, Sriver EL with speed glue is faster. Unglued is not bad especially the throw angle. I usually speed glue during official tournaments and I don't speed glue during training. |
