Looks like the new doubles service rules will go into affect.

Tongue

After a few of us read the new rules, we came up with a couple new "new" rules.

**The 1st server shall serve the 1st serve from the right side of the table and the 2nd serve from the ad side unless this player is left handed, or a switch player who can play with both right and left hands.

**The receiver of the second serve will serve from the left side to the player that s/he received from, then serve from the right side unless s/he cant remember which side s/he last served from, then s/he serves from center.  The ball must land on the center line.

There was NO double match at the NA Teams last year. They change?

Ahh you're right.  I misread, it was the Joola Tour Finals where the rule went into effect.  I can't find the proposal on the USATT web site anymore either... so I wonder if they just did away with it after trying at the Joola Tour Finals... funky they changed rules at the last tour stop of the year.
