Hi guys,
just asking a quick question for a friend who is computer illiterate,
What is the Nimbus like?
Is it anything like a glued rubber?
IS the topsheet grippy? Is the sponge hard/soft?
Many Thanks....Matt(asr's friend)

but it is really good, because it has european built in tension, it would never need gluing again

Nimbus is a good enough speed glue replacement for 99% of all players - maybe even more.
Another good tensor is Donic JP Gold and Donic JO Silver. The latter 2 have a bit more spin in slow loops. If you want more effect and more spin you need to use the new tuners, but for most player's needs tensors should be good enough. |

I'm probably biased, but yes, nimbus is awesome at what it does. At the club level, I can say that my equipment is enough to inspire self-confidence. Both my blades have nimbus sound on them, and I expect that if I ever do assemble another, nimbus will be right back there again. Why? As far as control, consistency and spin go, I can't complain. If I were to nitpick, I'd probably say that my nimbus sound is "slow" relative to my JO Gold, but hey, it's on my less-offensive bh so it really shouldn't matter much. I wonder though if the regular nimbus plays faster than the sound...

How does it compared to Bryce Speed? is it the same?
I'll regret buying it if I found out it's has the same characteristic with Bryce Speed.
