The blade is really soft for a carbon blade. Faster than my Clipper wood blade, but slower than KLHS. There is fair amount of vibration from this blade. To me, it is a faster version of Stiga Energy Wood WRB. Its construction backs this up, since this is basically a 5 ply wood blade adding 2 thin carbon layer, not next to the top plies, but next to the core. Hope this would help.

there are other stiga blades which could give better performance than this blade with a lower cost.. tube carbo would be better i think though a bit heavier

true, even though this is a decent blade, it s a little bit overpriced. Donic Waldner Carbon Senso and Yasaka Gatien Soft Carbon should do the similar job just fine and they re both in the $45-50 range.

I used EW then Carbonix, here is what I feel about them:
EW (bryce FH BH): easier control at close table, lower curve loop and dreadful kill.
Carbonix (Amana Sound FH, Mendo BH): overpriced, safer loop (more curve), prepare for big rally don't stay on the table (as it is difficult to keep the stroke short) but the RPH feeling is just so much better.

But I prefer Carbonix then EW now, bcs I can't play as aggressive as before (personal condition). EW is fun and much honest, attack the loop instead of counter loop if you can stay the pace. But with Carbonix, I have no confident to kill the ball bcs of it's "high tune" curve.

So do you want to pay more price for playing less fun ? then follow my example : ).
