Run for 30-60 minutes
stretch (do all the stretches you know and search some up)
Push ups (every morning or night)
Sit ups (every morning or night)
more push ups
more sit ups

you will get really strong pretty fast.

Make sure you do the running, it gets you really fit to own kids with all the power you got and not even get tired, and also it gives u a awesome body for the chiks.

Do not overdue the sit ups/push ups. DRINK A LOAD OF WATER!

even a 20 minute run before you go to work in the morning everyday. It is so surprising how much better you feel when you're fitter. I'm going to start doing that before I go to school.

Try to not do too much resistance training.  If you become too bulky by doing a lot of resistance training you will lose agility which quite obviously key for table tennis. I'm not saying don't do it, just don't turn into a body builder.

DeathAngel is right, just push ups and sit ups. Try doing squats as well to build up your leg muscles (quadriceps) because you should be using them a lot if you have correct technique. Take a look at the leg muscles on the top players Wang Liqin, Ma Lin, Ryu Seung Min - They have massive leg muscles because a huge percentage of their power comes from there.

Yeah, McGuiggan has a point, leg muscles are very important in TT and so is agility.

If you have weight's dont use over 10 pounds to curl, but i used to do martial arts and i do a horse stance which is like you are squatting on a horse and i hold the weights and do punches as controled and fast as i can.

it has gotten my to probably 10% stronger in 2 weeks. Also faster.
