I am looking to buy a new jpen and dont know what type of blade to buy. My current blade is a Rapier Carbon Jpen, a "fast" blade, from Butterfly and I like the feel of carbon, but it seems alot of people like 1-ply Hinoki jpens. I play offensively with alot of forehand drives and prefer fast blades. I would appreciate some advice on what jpen blade to purchase and anybody's experience with any particular blade. So far I've looked at Yasaka Hasha, Butterfly Temper Speed, and tried out the Senkoh-1.

Yes, this the round square version of the Super Cho Tokusen Bishu No. 1D100. (similiar to the Excellent P). You can get both the round square or square versions from iruiru for about $90 plus shipping.

Given how rare the 10mm kokus are, i am leaning towards getting the square version for myself, if its at least 9.4mm or so, I think i will be happy. |

lol, so everyone agrees that i should get the cho tokusen? o.o
it sounds pretty unanimous. and the advise is to get the one by kokutaku over the nittaku one? (and consider nothing else? haha) |

From the picture above, I think Nittaku is more beautiful, and I like my Cho Tokusen A.
According to my opinion, it is better to buy the "A" version, because from my previous blades that I have in rounded square, I find that the squared shape is better. |

sounds really hard to decide. I like the sound of the higher speed rating for the Kotaku Super Cho Tokusen, but i like the thinner body of the Nittaku Cho Tokusen A.
I'm also trying my hardest to find a 10mm Kokutaku since I've read a little about it on other threads. |

If you want a fast one, then you should go for Kokutaku 10 mm.
