shouldn't have to.. that's partly the purpose of the CR layer.

I did because my previous OC CR splintered a bit at the part under the U shape where it is not CR treated. If you want a bit of flex, keep it light. Otherwise, triple sealing is an option.

not to go off topic, but how is this blade. It is an all wood blade correct? How is the speed on it compared to a TBS?

Sorry,
I can't really make a direct comparison because i simply cannot handle the TBS at all, I own one, but for some reason I just can't play with it. Also, I use chinese tacky rubbers with this one, and sriver on the TBS, so... yeah. If anything it should be compared to the korbel, both are great blades, the OC in my opinion is better for brush looping because of the better feeling. Uhm, I can't play either of the blades to their fullest potential, I'm just going with personal preference. |

Stiga make really good blades but you may want to seal the blade first before you play with it. It tends to splinter.
