The defenders use wider blades.

I wish my Gergely21 had a normal head size and not a compact one.
The oversized blades are good for defenders ,in general.

I consider following head sizes:

compact - 155(-) x 148(-)
regular - 156~159 x 149~151
large - 160(+) x 152(+)
Phenom st/BW3/Ω3Euro ● Photino st/Ω4Pro/R7S ● Speed 90 fl/Vega Euro/S3

i feel that difference of head size is more of a balance issue...you can play looping with both wings with a larger head be provided that you are combining it with 2 light weight rubber eg. say 1.5 mm LKT pro xt...but obviously that would be a disadvantage...
